On July 31, 2024, Panuwat Chalongkuamdee, our founding partner and a renowned veteran of business law and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), delivered a lecture on the topic of “Laws for Entrepreneurs” for SCG Chemicals (SCGC). The lecture is a part of the Comprehensive Leader Program held by Thammasat Coaching Consulting and Networking Center (CONC).
SCGC has consistently operated and extended its business over the past four decades and is the core business that delivers exceptional performance results for SCG Group. SCGC has aspired for technology development in polymers, and recently aimed for the materiality of sustainability topics. Surpassing beyond altruism, a portfolio of innovation examples in petrochemicals are to drive the region’s economy and industry while improving people’s quality of life under Sustainable Development Goals (17 SDGs) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG). The primary objective of the session was to provide participants with a comprehensive yet accessible overview of business law and risk management, enabling them to identify and mitigate business risks through the implementation of effective risk management practices.
