SRPP advised Dusit Thani on Corporate Governance matters concerning THB 46 Billion DCP Project

SRPP News l 23 November 2022

SRPP assisted Dusit Thani Public Company Limited in corporate governance matters pertaining to the Dusit Central Park Project (DCP) expansion. Our support includes the supply of legal advice on the company's project-related transaction and the modification of the pertinent project document. In addition, we aided with the preparation of corporate governance documentation, such as notices for its shareholders and the transaction-related memoranda required by SET regulations.

The Dusit Central Park Project is developed by Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, one of Thailand's leading hotel and real estate developers with 70 years of experience, and Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN), Thailand's largest and most diversified real estate developer with 40 years of experience. The project is a new city landmark that would turn Bangkok's prominent Silom–Rama IV crossroads into the "Super Core CBD" by connecting four critical districts of the city with a one-of-a-kind mixed-use project called "Dusit Central Park." The expansion of the Dusit Central Park project was mostly attributable to the improvement of the project's layout, design, and spaces, as well as the business's positioning and competitiveness. The investment is funded by bank loans and contributions from the project's shareholders. The new investment would cost roughly THB 43 billion, bringing the overall value of the project to approximately THB 46 billion.

The transaction was led by Panuwat Chalongkuamdee (Founding Partner), Thosaphol Thurongkinanonth (Senior Associate), and Viparvee Chaemchaeng (Associate).
